This is my 37th year teaching and 27th year as librarian. I am the District Librarian at Madison Central School District and work at all three of our schools K-12. I have also been a speaker at various local and state conferences presenting on library topics and makerspace topics. We have had a makerspace in our library for 5 years now serving mostly all our middle school students and our stem classes. We have also run an after-school makerspace club for students.
In addition I read for the South Dakota teen choice awards for middle school and high school. I have also started up book clubs for adults and students. Currently I am working on a major weeding project and am about to start in Non-fiction. I am working on reorganizing the shelves so it looks more like a bookstore!
